Shipping Information

Each piece is packed by hand and shipped with care using Australia Post Standard Post (insured).
Because ceramics are fragile, shipping is priced to reflect careful packing and insurance.

How shipping is calculated

We use a single shipping rate per order.

  • $28 per order covers packing materials, handling, and the base Australia Post charge

  • $10 per item reflects the additional padding, weight, and care required for each extra piece

This means:

  • Ordering multiple pieces in one order is more cost-effective than ordering separately

  • All items are packed together wherever possible, in one well-protected parcel

Packaging

Even small ceramic pieces require:

  • Sturdy boxes

  • Generous cushioning

  • Insurance for breakage in transit

For this reason, shipping costs don’t scale linearly with object size, a single mug still needs a proper box and careful handling.

Larger works

Larger pieces (such as platters and one off peices) require more space, padding, and handling. The additional care and freight required for these works is factored into their pricing.

Alternative arrangements

Shipping is sent via Australia Post Standard Post by default.
